Privacy Policy
ZoozoobS (Zoozoobs Studio, the “Company”) has established and discloses this Privacy Policy under Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea (“PIPA”) to protect the personal information of users and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
This Privacy Policy applies to the following services provided by the Company:
- Mobile apps: 10 Daily: JLPT Japanese Vocab, Greek Myth Quiz, Little Clocky
- Website: zoozoobs.com
1. Purposes of Processing
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information is not used for any other purpose, and if a purpose changes, the Company will take the necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent under Article 18 of PIPA.
- Providing the service: saving learning and game progress, syncing learning progress and subscription status across devices, providing the Tokyo Tower ranking, and verifying access to paid features
- Customer support: reviewing and answering inquiries, providing technical support, and notifying results
- Service improvement: analyzing app usage, such as feature use events and screen views, to improve the service

- 10 Daily can be used without signing in. Without signing in, learning records are stored only on the device and are not sent to the Company’s servers. The mistake notebook is stored only on the device whether or not the user signs in.
- For signed-in users, app usage records are linked to the account identifier for analysis.
- In the Tokyo Tower ranking, the nickname (with the middle character masked) and game score are visible to other users. If the user has not set a nickname, the name of the social login account is shown with the middle character masked.
- The website (zoozoobs.com) has no sign-up and uses no cookies, and the Company does not collect or store visitors’ personal information.
- Study reminders are scheduled and shown on the user’s device. The Company does not collect any information to send notifications.
- Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Company does not collect payment details such as card numbers, and processes only the purchase and subscription history needed to verify purchases and manage access to paid features.
3. Retention Period
① The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention period required by law or agreed to by the user at the time of collection.
② The retention periods are as follows:
- Social login account information, intro survey answers, learning records and Tokyo Tower ranking records: until the account is deleted
- Device information, advertising identifier and app usage records: until the purposes in Article 1 are achieved
- Customer inquiry records: 6 months after the inquiry is resolved (to verify handling history)
4. Destruction of Personal Information
① The Company destroys personal information without delay once it is no longer needed, for example when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is achieved.
② If personal information must be kept under other laws even though the agreed retention period has expired or the purpose has been achieved, it is moved to a separate database or stored in a separate location.
③ Procedure and method:
- Procedure: the Company selects the personal information to be destroyed and destroys it with the approval of the Privacy Officer.
- Method: electronic files are deleted using technical methods that make the records unrecoverable; paper records are shredded or incinerated.
5. Provision to Third Parties
① The Company processes personal information only within the scope of Article 1 and provides it to third parties only in cases permitted under Articles 17 and 18 of PIPA, such as with the user’s consent or where specifically required by law.
② The Company currently does not provide personal information to third parties.
6. Outsourcing of Processing
① The Company outsources the processing of personal information as follows to provide the service:

② When entering into outsourcing contracts, the Company specifies in writing, under Article 26 of PIPA, the prohibition of processing beyond the outsourced purpose, technical and managerial safeguards, restrictions on sub-outsourcing, supervision of the service provider, and liability for damages, and supervises whether the service provider processes personal information safely.
③ Any change to the outsourced tasks or service providers will be disclosed through this Privacy Policy without delay.
7. International Transfers
① Under Article 28-8(1)(3) of PIPA, the Company transfers personal information overseas as part of outsourcing necessary to conclude and perform its contract with users, as follows.

② Users may refuse the international transfer of their personal information. Because these tasks are essential to the service, refusing means the related features, such as social login, learning record sync, ranking and paid services, cannot be used. To refuse, contact the Privacy Officer in Article 13.
8. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives
① Users may at any time request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of their personal information, and may withdraw consent.
② Requests can be made in writing or by email (contact@zoozoobs.com), and the Company will act on them without delay.
③ Requests may also be made through an agent, such as a legal representative or a person with delegated authority. In that case, a power of attorney in the form prescribed by the Notice on Methods of Processing Personal Information must be submitted.
④ Requests for access and suspension of processing may be limited under Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of PIPA.
⑤ Correction or deletion cannot be requested where other laws specify that the personal information must be collected.
⑥ The Company verifies that the person making a request is the user or a legitimate agent.
⑦ Deleting the app stops data collection on that device. A 10 Daily account and its synced learning records can be deleted directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by sending a request by email.
9. Children Under 14
① Where consent is required to process the personal information of a child under 14, the Company obtains consent from the child’s legal representative.
② In apps that children may use, such as Little Clocky, the Company does not ask children to enter information that identifies them, such as their name or contact details.
③ Legal representatives may request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of the child’s personal information.
10. Security Measures
The Company takes the following measures to keep personal information secure:
- Managerial: keeping the number of people who handle personal information to a minimum
- Technical: encrypting data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and managing and restricting access to systems that process personal information
11. Automatic Collection Tools and How to Refuse
① The website (zoozoobs.com) does not use cookies.
② The Android apps may collect the advertising identifier (Android advertising ID) to analyze service usage. Users can refuse or reset its collection and use by deleting or resetting the advertising ID in the device’s Settings → Google → Ads.
③ The iOS apps do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA).
12. App Permissions
The Company requests only the minimum permissions needed. Users can use the rest of the service without granting optional permissions, and can change them at any time in device settings.

Speech in the pronunciation mini-game (Tokyo Tower) is processed by the device operating system’s speech recognition, and may be sent to and processed by Apple’s (iOS) or Google’s (Android) speech recognition service. The Company does not store voice recordings.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective from October 15, 2026. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
